Examination Technique Seminars
In order to assist students in preparing their examinations, examination technique seminars are organised before each examination session. The seminar recommends techniques and strategies for tackling the examinations. Experienced lecturers are invited to speak.
Technical Seminars
Technical seminars are held for members and students to constantly update their knowledge and skills in order to maintain their professional competence. Seminars on topics of accounting irregularities and ethics, accounting system in mainland China, new accounting standards, etc. were organised previously.
China Visit
China visit is an important function organised by the Institute every year, normally during Christmas. The purpose of the study tour is to provide opportunities for members and students to learn the recent accounting, auditing, taxation and economic developments in the mainland.
Outdoor Activities, Social and Company Visits
Outdoor activities are organised regularly for students to strike a balance between life and study. Students are able to relax themselves after examination and make friends with other students who are with the same goal. Social visits are organised to mobilise members and students to serve the community. Visits to large companies (such as Hong Kong International Airport, Calbee Four Seas Company) increase their horizon and let them learn how various companies operate.
