Sa Sa International Holdings Limited (Sa Sa) is the selected company for case study this year. Participating teams are required to submit a written report to give recommendations on strategies to sustain Sa Sa 's business growth for the next three years. Students may refer to the Sa Sa Annual Report 2008/09 for better understanding of the company's financial status and its overall business strategies. Based on these written reports, the reviewers shortlisted, through a blind review, the best six teams in each group to enter the final round of the Competition – the oral presentation, in which they had 15 minutes to present the key points of their proposal and demonstrate their analytical and problem solving skills, followed by a 5 minutes’ Q&As session from the four adjudicators.

The adjudication panel on the oral presentation included: Mr. Andy Tsoi, Vice-President and Group Financial Controller, Sa Sa International Holdings Limited, Mr. William Chan, Partner of Li, Tang, Chen & Co., Mr. Edward Chiu, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Enrichment Programs, Faculty of Business and Economics, The University of Hong Kong, and Mr. K C Cheng, Director and Chief Executive Officer, Poly Genius Consulting Limited.

The oral presentation was also a blind review where the names of the finalists’ teams were not disclosed to the adjudicators and audience.
