Announcement of examination results for the December 2010 session
Examination results of AAT Examination and PBE will be announced in the fourth week of February 2011.

Syllabuses update for AAT Examination and PBE
Updated syllabuses and accounting software for AAT Examination and PBE will be adopted from the June 2011 session onwards.

Abolition of PBE special topics from the June 2011 session onwards
PBE special topics will no longer be available from the June 2011 examination session onwards. This will be in line with the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs' qualification programme (QP) whereby special topics are not provided for module assessment level.

Admission requirement to HKICPA Qualification Programme (QP) for
AAT graduates

With effect from 1 January 2011, AAT graduates who have fulfilled one of the following requirements will be eligible for admission to the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs' QP:

Have obtained membership of the HKIAAT plus successful completion of the Professional Bridging Examination (PBE); or
Have successfully completed the Professional Assessment (PA) and the PBE.

Membership and Studentship Renewal for 2011
Annual membership and studentship fees will be due soon. Members and students should have received their renewal package in early December 2010. All members and students are obliged to pay the annual fees before the due date. +
