I am pleased to inform you that the review process for the learning outcomes of the new HKICPA Qualification Framework for CPA qualifying process has been duly completed. The HKICPA is in the process of appointing a consultant to design and develop the competencies for workshops and practical experience framework under the new framework. We will keep you posted on the latest developments of the reform project.

Our popular annual Accounting and Business Management Case Competition is now open for entries. This year, we are pleased to have the support of International Housewares Retail Company Limited, the holding company of renowned household retail stores including Japan Home Centre (日本城) and City Life (生活提案). Apart from enhancing the accounting knowledge and soft skills, the winning team can also gain internships at the supporting company. I strongly advise students studying for a higher diploma or associate degree to seize this golden opportunity for self-enrichment!

President of HKIAAT
