This is where we post and answer students’ questions about the accounting profession and the AAT qualification. If you have any questions you would like to ask us, you are welcome to send them to sandy.ku@hkiaat.org. We are always pleased to answer your questions.

Question in this issue:
Jenny Szeto: Could you tell me something about the Certified Accounts Clerk (CAC) qualification? How can I attain this qualification?
Our answer:
The CAC qualification is well suited for the Hong Kong business environment and sets the required vocational standard for junior accounting staff. It confirms your ability in basic book-keeping and your knowledge of computerized accounting entry systems. As a secondary school student, you can complete the HKIAAT Applied Learning course Practical Accounting for SMEs to acquire the CAC qualification. Click here for more details.
