Professional Bridging Examination (PBE)

Professional recognition
 
The PBE provides direct admission to HKICPA's Qualification Programme (QP)*. The QP is a comprehensive training programme that provides the knowledge and skills necessary to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). CPA QP offers a direct route to qualify as a CPA. Completing the CPA QP exempts you from passing the Hong Kong Practising Certificate Examinations, which is necessary to register as an auditor.

*PBE graduates need to be HKIAAT's Associate or Fellow Members (with at least one year of relevant work experience) for admission to QP.

Inland Revenue Department Assistant Assessor
*Subject to the applicant also possessing Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent; and that the applicant is fluent in Cantonese and spoken English as well as demonstrating good written Chinese and English.
