Accounting Technician Examination (ATE)

Overview

The Accounting Technician Examination (ATE) confirms your knowledge in financial accounting, taxation, business law, accounting system and internal control, information technology and business communication. This knowledge guarantees a promising accounting career. With this qualification you can join a professional body as an HKIAAT Associate Member.

The HKIAAT syllabus has been developed to match Hong Kong's unique business market. The qualification is in demand by the public and private sectors in Hong Kong. It is gaining a foothold outside Hong Kong, in mainland China and overseas. It is the only designation of its kind that's recognised by educational institutes locally and overseas and Hong Kong's sole statutory regulatory body for accountants.

The AAT qualification the Institute accredit is a good qualification for the young generation to start a career as an accounting technician. It also offers opportunities for them to articulate to higher academic and professional qualification in accounting.
