HKIAAT 20th Anniversary Scholarships


Take your first step to go into accountancy!

To increase your competitiveness in the job market, you are encouraged to seize this valuable opportunity to apply the HKIAAT 20th Anniversary Scholarships to obtain the AAT qualification!

There are a maximum of five awards. The value of each scholarship shall be around HK$7,500, in the form of a fee waiver to cover a one-off student registration fees and examination/ exemption fees for the Accredited Accounting Technicians Examination and Professional Bridging Examination.

The HKIAAT is announcing the fee structure for the New Qualification Framework as follows:

Student Registration Deadline under the New Qualification Framework

The HKIAAT New Qualification Framework (NQF) will be launched in June 2009. If you would like to take the new Accredited Accounting Technician Examination under the NQF, please kindly observe the following student registration deadlines:

Reschedule of the ATE June 2008 Paper 5 (Hong Kong Taxation) Examination

Due to the hoisting of the BLACK Rainstorm Warning Signal on 7 June 2008 (Saturday), the Accounting Technician Examination Paper 5 – Hong Kong Taxation examination was cancelled and it is now re-scheduled as follows:


Date: 22 June 2008 (Sunday)

Time: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm


The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) has sent out notification letters to individual candidates on 13 June 2008. Please be reminded that your examination centre assigned may be changed under this re-scheduling.


You are reminded to bring the following documents to the examination:

1. HKEAA's letter;

2. the ORIGINAL Examination Attendance Docket;

3. your HKIAAT Student Card; and

4. your HKID Card.


If you are unable to attend the re-scheduled examination, please write to us for applying a special arrangement to transfer your Paper 5 examination enrolment fee from June 2008 Session to December 2008 Session.

SME Seminar Series

Initiated by the Hong Kong SME Development Association in 2004, SME Advancement Campaign was a huge success which had attracted more than 3,000 attendees in the seminars.

This year, SME Advancement Campaign is much more sophisticated and a series of seminars on 4 major issues, namely Business Administration Strategy, Financial Management Solution, Enterprise Performance Optimization and Business Development in SME, will be held. The first seminar will be held on 29 May 2008, and members and students of the HKIAAT are invited to join it. Detail of this seminar is as follows:
