Examination matters

Financial reporting and auditing standards for the December 2010 examination session
Candidates taking Professional Bridging Examination (PBE) Paper I – PBE Financial accounting and Paper III – PBE Auditing and information systems should note the list of standards applicable to the forthcoming examinations.

Candidates taking Accredited Accounting Technician (AAT) Examination Paper 7 – Financial accounting and Paper 8 – Principles of auditing and management information systems should note the list of standards applicable to the forthcoming examinations.

Examination timetable for December 2010
The examination timetable for the December 2010 session is now available. Click to check the AAT Examination and PBE timetables. The closing date for examination applications is 30 September 2010.

New release of question and answer booklets
Question and answer (Q&A) booklets for the examinations held in June 2010 will be available for sale at the HKIAAT’s reception desk from mid-September 2010. Each booklet costs HK$15.

Reminder for fee increment for June 2011 AAT Examination
The examination and exemption fees for the AAT Examination will be increased to HK$450 each for Papers 2 to 8 effective from the June 2011 session. Examination enrolments and exemption applications received on or after 1 October 2010 will fall under the new fee structure.
