On 17 May 2014, the HKICPA Leadership Team and the HKIAAT Board held a forward-looking Strategy Day to consider the transformation of HKIAAT that befits the market needs. The in-depth discussion provided invaluable insights into the review of our qualifying process and examination structure. I believe our endeavours will contribute to the development of the accounting profession.

I am pleased to present the Annual Report of HKIAAT for the year 2012-13. Despite the difficulties and challenges we encountered last year, with your staunch support, we will head towards a better future through transformation and innovation. I look forward to sharing more encouraging updates with you in the future.

Stella Cho
President of HKIAAT
