Announcements of results for the June 2009 session
Results for the Accredited Accounting Technician (AAT) Examination and Professional Bridging Examination (PBE) will be announced in the fourth week and the third week of August 2009 respectively.

First Professional Assessment under the New Qualification Framework
The first Professional Assessment (PA) will take place on 15 November 2009. The PA Enrolment Form will be sent to eligible students in late August 2009, excluding those who are currently exempted under the transitional arrangements of the New Qualification Framework. Students should observe the deadline for enrolment submission, and ensure that the enrolment form, together with the enrolment fee, is received by HKIAAT before the deadline. Top-up Degree for AAT Graduates
We are pleased to announce that AAT graduates are now eligible for direct entry into the Bachelor of Professional Accounting with Honours, a new collaborative degree programme run by the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs and The Open University of Hong Kong. This programme is closely aligned with the Professional Bridging Examination and is accredited by the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs as an approved accountancy degree programme for its Qualification Programme (QP) admission. Upon graduation, students can be admitted to QP, enabling them to take a step closer towards gaining the CPA designation. +

Module Certificate for the AAT Examination Preparatory Courses for December 2009 session
Students who are planning to take the AAT Examination in December 2009 can now enrol for examination preparatory courses. The Employees Retraining Board (ERB) will offer part-time training courses called “Module Certificate in Accredited Accounting Technician Training” for the coming AAT Examination. The course for each module includes 48 hours’ tuition and costs $2,750. The fee for each module is reduced to an amazing $825 for students whose monthly income level ranges from HK$7,001 to HK$15,000. Students with a monthly income less than HK$7,000 may apply for a full exemption from the course fee. +
