Over the years, the AAT qualification has gained popularity among those who aspire to become accredited accounting technicians. Important notes for examination candidates
The Accounting Technician Examination and Professional Bridging Examination (PBE) results for the December 2008 session will be announced in the fourth week of February and first week of March 2009 respectively. +

The timetable for the first Accredited Accounting Technician (AAT) Examination and PBE under the New Qualification Framework in June 2009 is now available. Please click here for the timetable. The closing date for examination applications is 31 March 2009.

Please note that there is a misprint of the Pilot Examination Paper in the Study Text of AAT Paper 8 – Principles of Auditing and Management Information Systems published by Kaplan Financial (HK) Limited. Education and Careers Expo 2009
The HKIAAT together with its parent institute, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) will showcase the accountancy profession at the Education and Careers Expo to be held from 19 to 22 February 2009 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Visit the Expo to get more information about the AAT and CPA qualifications. In addition, we have organized a seminar with the theme of "Moving Forward in Accountancy Profession". An experienced CPA will talk to the public about his experience and views on the prospects for the profession. Come and visit us at Booth No. 5B21.

HKIAAT Accounting and Business Management Case Competition
Secondary School Group
This year's Case Competition for the Secondary School Group was successfully held on 17 January 2009. A total of 153 teams from 73 schools took part in this increasingly popular annual tournament. Click here to see the results and a video of the event.
